Bunge completes $8 billion merger with Viterra

The merger of Bunge and Viterra is officially complete.
The U-S-based Bunge, an oilseed processing company, announced the closing on Wednesday of the deal worth 8.2-billion-dollars U-S.
Viterra, formerly known as the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, is a grain-handling business with dozens of facilities across the country.
The Canadian government approved the deal earlier this year in a decision that included terms and conditions meant to address concerns about competition.
