Local hockey teams busy this weekend

The Tisdale Trojans host the Notre Dame Hounds in AAA hockey action this weekend.

Tisdale will face the Hounds Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2 at the RECplex.

The Trojans are 10-14-1-0 so far this season, while the Hounds are just 1-23-1-1.

Tisdale has just four games remaining in 2025.

In the PJHL, the Carrot River Outback Thunder will host the Prince Albert Timberjaks Saturday night at 7:30 at Kearns Arena.

The Thunder trail PA by two points in the Bob Dybvig Division.

Carrot River will hit the road Sunday as they take on Martensville at 3:30 p.m.

The North East U18 AA Wolfpack have one game this weekend as they host the Prince Albert Lake Country Co-op Timberwolves.

The Wolfpack is 5-9-0-1, and they trail PA by just one point in the standings.

Game time Saturday in Hudson Bay is at 5 p.m.
