Three charged after drug bust on James Smith Cree Nation

Three people face cahrges after a drug investigation on James Smith Cree Nation. 

Saskatchewan RCMP officers from Melfort, the Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team, Police Dog Services, and the Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant at James Smith on Tuesday. 

Officers seized a small amount of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a sum of cash from the home. 

Five people were arrested at the home, with two being released without charges. 

A 19-year-old male from Saskatoon and two male teens from Kinistin Salteaux Nation are each charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, with one of the youths also charged with failing to comply wiht a youth court order.
