Man sentenced for breaking windows at Melfort businesses

The man charged with vandalizing several businesses in downtown Melfort has been sentenced.
Roger Durocher pleaded guilty in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday to one count of break-and-enter, and several charges of criminal mischief.
He received a suspended sentence and a 12-month probation order, with conditions that include abstaining from drugs and alcohol.
Court heard Durocher was high on crack cocaine in the early morning hours of Jan. 29.
