Watson under drinking water advisory

The community of Watson is under a precautionary drinking water advisory. 

The Water Security Agency (WSA) issued the advisory following a major water main break in the community earlier this week. Water was shut down in the entire community for several hours as they needed time to repair a water valve. Service was restored on Thursday. 

Residents are advised to boil their water for at least a minute before consumption, washing fruits and vegetables, brushing teeth, and soaking dentures. 

The WSA will lift the advisory once the water supply is determined to be completely safe.
