Nipawin & District Regional Park reopens after fire threat

The Nipawin and District Regional Park avoided damage from threatening wildfires nearby and has reopened to the public.

The park was closed and evacuated on Friday due to a wildfire that was in the area. 

Fire crews were putting out hot spots on Saturday before the park reopened. 

The park said in a social media post that nothing in the park was damaged, and they thanked everyone for their support, and the fire crews for their efforts.
