Nominations open for Sask Mustard board seat
Mustard growers in Saskatchewan now have an opportunity to be more involved in the industry.
Nominations are being accepted for one director position on the Saskatchewan Mustard Development Commission (Sask Mustard) Board of Directors.
Sask Mustard is a producer-funded levy organization that operates under the Agrifood Act to administer a mandatory but refundable checkoff of 0.5 per cent of gross sales on all mustard produced in Saskatchewan.
Board Chair Norm Hall said eligible mustard growers should consider putting their name forward to help guide the future of Saskatchewan’s mustard industry. Directors help set priorities for research, market development, communications and industry advancement on behalf of producers across the province.
