Trial dates set for Snowden murder case
A man accused of killing his wife in the village of Snowden last year will stand trial by jury later this year.
That was the outcome of a pre-trial conference at Court of King’s Bench in Melfort.
Kevin Searcy’s trial is scheduled to begin Dec. 7, with 10 days set aside for the Crown and defence to present their cases.
On Nov. 5, 2024, RCMP were called to a home in the small community, and found 69-year-old Diane Searcy deceased.
