Rainfall warning issued for Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain

A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for parts of eastern Saskatchewan. 

Hudson Bay and Porcupine Plain are among the communities that are under the warning, which also spans south past Esterhazy. 

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) said that a low-pressure system will be moving north from the Dakotas, bringing with it significant rain that will start Monday night. 

Some areas could see 35 to 90 mm of rain, and ECCC said that “highly localized rainfall in excess of 150 mm are possible with this system.”
