Vehicle hits moose near Yellow Creek

A scary incident early Thursday morning, after a vehicle hit a moose on Highway 41. 

The Yellow Creek Fire Department was called to the scene just east of Yellow Creek at 2 a.m. 

By the time crews arrived, the occupants exited the vehicle and had sustained “non-critical injuries.” 

Members helped the occupants until EMS crews arrived, and they were then taken to hospital for further evaluation.
