Staffing shortage to affect Melfort Hospital outpatient lab services

Residents in Melfort who need lab work could face some challenges in the coming weeks. 

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has issued a notice stating that outpatient services at the Melfort Hospital’s lab will be affected by a staffing shortage. 

Outpatient lab services will be closed Sept. 28-30, and Oct 1, 2, 8, and 9. 

Anyone who needs lab services during those days can visit a lab in Tisdale, Nipawin, or Prince Albert.
