A two-vehicle crash near Melfort has led to charges.

Emergency crews were called to the collision at the intersection of Highways 41 and 41A southwest of Melfort, just before 6:30 Tuesday morning.

RCMP say an eastbound semi attempted to make a left turn off Highway 41 onto 41A and turned in front of a westbound pickup truck.

The 51-year-old driver of the pickup from Tisdale received minor injuries and did not need medical treatment. Meanwhile, the 51-year-old semi driver from Saskatoon was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for his involvement in the collision.
