Extreme cold warning issued for much of Saskatchewan

Much of the eastern part of the province is under an extreme cold warning.

That includes Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Hudson Bay and Humboldt, all the way south past Yorkton and into southeastern Saskatchewan.

Environment and Climate Change Canada says extreme wind chills of –40 C or colder are expected overnight in these areas.

Extreme wind chills are expected to return overnight on Wednesday as well.
