Nipawin Chamber’s ABEX Awards dinner quickly approaching

The Nipawin Chamber of Commerce is honouring local businesses next month.

The ABEX Awards dinner is being held at the Nipawin Legion March 6.

The event “celebrates the outstanding achievements of the businesses and leaders in Nipawin and surrounding area,” Nipawin Chamber Executive Director Lisa Suchlandt tol northeastNOW. “Held annually, the ABEX Awards brings together many sectors of the business community.”

Suchlandt said the event acknowledges the significant contributions of the Nipawin business community, while also providing a platform for networking and sharing success stories.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders. It is a chance to network, share experiences, and celebrate the businesses that make our region thrive.”

Special recognitions for the categories include Heritage, Service, Retail, and Agriculture. Nominations for the awards closed this past Friday, and the next step is voting. You can visit the Nipawin Chamber’s social media pages to cast votes for the winners.

“Honouring local businesses and entrepreneurs in Nipawin is incredibly important because it recognizes their contributions to the local economy, job creation, and community development,” said Suchlandt.
