Trojans lose

Trojans drop home game to Yorkton

The Tisdale Trojans couldn’t take advantage of a home game against a team close to the bottom of the Saskatchewan Male AAA standings.

The Trojans put 41 shots on net but couldn’t put more than one puck in the net as they fell 2-1 to the Yorkton Kinsmen Maulers.

Tisdale outshot Yorkton 41-19, but Reid Schweitzer made 40 stops in the win.

Wyatt Fleischhacker stopped 17 shots for the Trojans, while Kash Elke scored the lone Tisdale goal.

The Trojans drop to 22-10-6 on the season, and they will travel to Saskatoon to face the Blazers in a pair of games this weekend.
