Trojans sweep weekend

Trojans end regular season with two wins

The Tisdale Trojans are entering the playoffs on a winning note.

The Trojans downed the last place Notre Dame Hounds in a pair of games at the RECPlex on the weekend.

Tisdale outscored the Hounds 10-7 on Saturday, as Jacob Tait had a goal and four assists for the Trojans.

Eight players had multiple points for Tisdale, and 13 had at least one point.

Tisdale followed that up with a 9-2 win on Sunday.

Lucas Hvidston had a goal and five assists, while Carter Geysen had four goals and an assist in the win.

Once again, eight players had multiple points in consecutive games.

Tisdale finished the regular season with a 25-13-6 record, and they locked up fifth place in the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League.
