Melfort and District Museum named winner of second annual Community Airtime Award
The Melfort and District Museum will soon be the beneficiary of a ton of free advertising.
The non-profit organization is the recipient of the second annual Community Airtime Award, which will grant them over $50,000 worth of radio airtime, courtesy of 105 CJVR and 750 Beach Radio.
“We are thrilled to be the recipient of this year’s community airtime award. The museum has lots of exciting initiatives underway, including a large land expansion project, so we’re so excited to be able to work in collaboration to enhance our marketing plan and help spread the word about all the great things that happen at the museum,” said museum curator, Brenda Mellon.
“We have a major fundraising initiative where we are expanding our settler village and bringing in additional buildings, and we’re always looking for new volunteers and people to get involved in the museum. This would be a great avenue to help reach new people and let them know what’s happening here, and how they can be involved as well.”
