RCMP say the public will be notified if investigators identify a renewed risk to public safety.

Police seek surveillance footage

Investigators are asking residents of Red Earth Cree Nation to review security camera and doorbell camera footage recorded between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on October 15.

Anyone whose cameras captured suspicious activity during that period is asked to report the information to police immediately.

Information can be provided to local police by calling 310-RCMP. Anyone facing an emergency should call 911.

Saskatchewan RCMP remain on Red Earth Cree Nation, and police say an increased police presence will continue in the area for an undetermined period.

Investigators say they are unable to release further details at this time. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

The Saskatchewan RCMP Homicide Investigation Unit continues to investigate.
