Senger, Stockdale win Vanity Cup

A duo from southern Saskatchewan have taken home the big prize in this year’s Vanity Cup at Tobin Lake.

Josh Senger of Regina Beach and Winston Stockdale of Regina hauled in 57.33 points of walleye over the two-day event.

The duo earned the grand prize worth $100,000.

They were in second place heading into the final day of competition.

Finishing in second place, and bringing home a cool $25,000, were Josh Kasper of Pilot Butte and Ugur Gul of Regina, who led after day one.

The two anglers caught a total of 56.36 pounds of walleye.

The third place team was Brett Robinson of Wawa, ON and Sebastian Despatie of Hearst, ON.

They took home $15,000 with a two-day total of 54.63 pounds after finishing fourth after day one.

The annual tournament is held each October
