Travel not recommended in Melfort area due to extremely icy conditions

The warmer weather is a relief, but not so much for drivers.

According to the Highway Hotline, travel is not recommended in the Melfort area due to extremely icy conditions.

Reports from multiple people driving in and around Melfort say the conditions are terrible, and even people with large trucks and sturdy winter tires are having difficulty driving at all.

Temperatures are expected to stay at or above normal for the next few days.
