Muskoday home invasion suspect arrested after one month on the run
A man on the run from police for over a month after a violent home invasion on Muskoday First Nation has been arrested.
Chance Smith, 27, appeared Friday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court and was remanded to next Thursday for a possible bail hearing.
As a result of the incident on Jan. 24, two men were taken to hospital, including one with serious injuries. The victim was reportedly stabbed four times.
The police investigation determined four suspects wearing masks entered the residence. After assaulting the victims, they fled the scene in a vehicle that was later located by police with no occupants inside.
