Tisdale looking for developers for Doghide Drive

The Town of Tisdale has issued a Request for Proposals for a massive multi-residential development in the community. 

The Town said in a statement that the development on Doghide Drive is the largest land sale opportunity in Tisdale. 

They are offering land for just one dollar, saying that it is a “major development incentive.” The proposal also boasts that there has been over $450,000 invested in municipal infrastructure ahead of any development. The area is zoned for multi-unit housing, and the Town said it’s in a “prime location to support population growth and housing demand.” 

The statement read that the Town is looking for developers help to increase housing supply and diversity, attract new residents and support workforce needs in the area, maximize existing infrastructure investments, and build a vibrant, sustainable community. 

The Town is seeking a developer that will see the project through, from start to finish. That includes subdivision and approvals, site preparation and construction, and the installation of all utilities and services.

According to the Town’s statement, the development must be substantially complete within two years, under a formal Development Agreement. The Town stated tthat they are not obligated to accept any proposal and may negotiate with proponents to achieve the best outcome. 

Proposals can be sent to the Town of Tisdale by June 30. 

“This is more than a land sale – it’s a strategic investment opportunity with strong municipal support and long-term growth potential,” the Town stated.
