Man charged with murder of infant in Melfort back in court next month

A man charged with second-degree murder after the death of an infant in Melfort will have his case back in court next month.
The 37-year-old man, who is not in custody and was not in Melfort Provincial Court during his appearance on Monday, had his case adjourned until May 11.
He was charged after RCMP were called about an infant in medical distress in Melfort on Dec. 24.
The child died in hospital four days later.
