NFD douses skid steer blaze

The Nipawin Fire Department (NFD) responded to a skid steer fire on a grid road east of Rolling Pines Golf Course on Father’s Day. 

The skid steer was fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived, and the operator was able to get out of the machine before it was consumed by flames. 

The NFD said it took 1000 gallons of water and foam to knock down the fire. 

They were on scene for over two hours.
