Suspects sought after shooting at Yellow Quill First Nation

Rose Valley RCMP are asking for help to find three suspects in relation to a shooting and robbery at Yellow Quill First Nation. 

Police say a group of individuals approached two males walking on Yellow Quill First Nation Saturday evening. 

The group robbed the two males with a firearm, which was discharged. 

One of the males was injured, and the group fled the scene. 

The incident was reported to the RCMP the following evening, and the injured male reported non-life-threatening injuries to police and was treated in hospital. 

Rose Valley and Yorkton RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area for the suspects but came up empty. 

Kynan Desjarlais, 23, from Yellow Quill faces multiple charges, including discharging a firearm with intent, robbery with a firearm, and assault with a weapon. 

He is 6’, 149 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair.

Damon Nippi, 32,from Yellow Quill has been charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm and a count of failure to comply, while 29-year-old Rylance Quewezance of Saskatoon has been charged with one count robbery with a firearm. 

Nippi is 5’8”, 154 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on both arms, on the right side of his neck, and a cross tattoo under his left eye.

Quewezance is 5’6”, 149 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.

The suspects are known to travel to the Saskatoon area.
