Dog rescued by Nipawin firefighters

The Nipawin Fire Department had to rescue a dog over the long weekend. 

The department was called out to the RM of Torch River Monday morning, when a dog fell over a cliff. 

The animal was found on a ledge, about 30 feet from the top and 60 to 70 feet from the riverbank. Firefighters sent rope rescue members over the edge to retrieve the dog, and everyone made it up safely.
