Nipawin Fire Department responds to four separate calls Wednesday

Oct 22, 2026 | 10:22 AM

Fire crews in Nipawin had a busy Wednesday.

They were first called just after 2:30 in the morning, when a car hit a bridge and was hanging over the edge.

The driver had already made it out of the vehicle, and a winch was used before a tow truck was able to haul the vehicle away.

A four-vehicle crash in the noon hour at the four-way stop near L.P. Miller High School was their next call; thankfully, the damage was minor, and no injuries were reported.
