Planned power outages scheduled for local communities

Several local communities will be affected by planned power outages this week.

According to SaskPower, the first will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. That outage will affect rural customers east of Kelvington.

There will be two local planned power outages on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The first is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, and will affect customers in Humboldt that live south of Seventh Ave. to Fifth Ave. and east of Seventh St. to Third St.

SaskPower said on its Twitter feed the Humboldt outage is required for system maintenance.

Customers west of Fosston will experience a planned outage from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Another outage is scheduled Thursday, Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will affect customers south of Wynyard.
