While some people may have been snowmobiling as part of their social distancing measures, that won’t be an option anymore due to concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 24, the Saskatchewan Snowmobilers Association announced organizers would be closing all SSA designated trails.
“Today, the SSA Board of Directors made a formal decision to cease trail operations and grooming effective immediately on any trails which are still available to the public,” the post stated.
The closure will take effect at midnight on Wednesday, March 25, giving riders who are out time to get home.
