Funnel clouds possible in northeast: Environment Canada

A weather advisory has been issued for much of the northeast.

Areas including Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, and St. Brieux are under the advisory.

Environment Canada says conditions will be favourable for the development of funnel clouds today, and the weak rotation associated with the weather system could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado.
