Traffic stop leads to charges against Humboldt man

A 31-year-old man faces a number of drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop in Humboldt.

RCMP stopped a vehicle May 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. in connection to an earlier investigation.

Methamphetamine, two replica firearms, a flip-style knife, several pieces of stolen identification, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia were seized as a result of the traffic stop.

A 31-year-old Humboldt man faces several charges, including possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, two counts of breach of recognizance, breach of undertaking, and driving without a valid license.
