Emergency Service Disruption

Emergency and outpatients services unavailable for 10 days in Porcupine Plain

Jan 14, 2022 | 11:23 AM

A 10-day disruption to emergency services in Porcupine Plain will begin on Saturday.

From Jan. 15 at 8 a.m. to Monday January 24 at 8 a.m., emergency services and outpatient services will be on bypass at the Porcupine Carragana Hospital.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority stated staffing shortage as the reason behind the disruption.

The SHA recommends calling 911 in the event of an emergency. Non-urgent related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 811.
