Riders add player to injury-riddled running back corps
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added another running back to their locker room.
B.J. Emmons was announced as the newest member of the CFL team on Sunday.
The Riders only had one running back — Kienan LaFrance — available to them in a 31-13 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday. LaFrance was injured in the first half of the game.
Saskatchewan was already without Frankie Hickson (wrist), Jamal Morrow (hand) and Shaun Wilson (groin). The team signed Shaq Cooper on Friday but he could not be added to the active roster.
