Greenwater-Rose Valley RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a snowmobile was involved in a hit-and-run.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, the police received a report of a collision during the Archerwill Snowmobile Derby on a trail west of Barrier Lake.

A 47-year-old person was launched off their snowmobile and suffered minor injuries. Their snowmobile and helmet were damaged in the collision.

The other driver, who was believed to have been riding on a black skidoo, did not stay behind and police are trying to track them down.

The RCMP believes there were also other riders in the area who may have since the collision but did not stop to help.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP at 306-322-2550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
