Mustangs look to end losing skid, host Terriers to start home-and-home
The Melfort Mustangs are hoping their first losing streak of the season is a short one, as they look to get off the schneid Friday night when the Yorkton Terriers (who are on a five-game skid of their own) come to town.
Melfort lost back-to-back games this past week, during a home-and-home series at the hands of the Melville Millionaires.
Now, they will face a different Viterra Division opponent, also in a home-and-home series, aiming to be the ones with the brooms in hand, rather than the ones being swept.
According to Stangs’ veteran forward, Hayden Prosofsky, the club has to get back to basics if they want to start another run of success.
