Youth accused of possessing imitation firearm denied bail
The 15-year-old male from Tisdale who faces nine charges after allegedly possessing an imitation firearm during Melfort Exhibition weekend will remain in custody until at least his next court date.
Judge Lloyd Stang denied the youth bail, reasoning that he would be a high risk to the public if released.
Including the Melfort incident and previous unrelated charges from Tisdale, the youth faces a total of 34 charges.
Imitation firearm charges are still treated the same as real guns.
