Workers injured in St. Brieux

Two men are in hospital after a small explosion in St. Brieux.

Melfort RCMP said the explosion happened at noon today, while the men were repairing underground water lines.

One of the men was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to hospital, while the other was transported to hospital by local EMS.

RCMP say both have what are appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, and there is no risk to public safety as a result of the incident.
