15-year-old imitation firearm suspect makes first court appearance
A 15-year-old male from Tisdale who faces nine charges after allegedly possessing a replica firearm made his first appearance in Melfort Provincial Court on Tuesday July 24.
While the youth is currently in custody, he will have a bail hearing on July 31.
The teen was arrested during the Melfort Exhibition Friday evening when an altercation allegedly took place between the 15-year-old and three women. Melfort RCMP responded to a complaint of a man with a firearm at the fair.
The youth’s charges include pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and two counts of breach of probation.
