RCMP looking for woman suspected of thefts in Nipawin
Nipawin RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance is locating a 35-year-old woman for numerous outstanding charges.
Ericka Settee is wanted for theft, mischief and break and enter.
Settee is the suspect in numerous residential theft investigations. According to police, she allegedly gains access to residences by telling homeowners fictitious stories.
According to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers, Settee’s excuses to gain access to a person’s home include being new to town and starting a new job as a daycare worker or teacher, and/or is fleeing from an abusive partner and needs to use the phone. Once inside the homes, police say she steals cash, jewelry and anything else that may be of value.
