COVID-19 positive case identified at MUCC

Melfort and Unit Comprehensive Collegiate (MUCC) has sent out a letter to parents and guardians regarding a COVID-19 case at the school.

The letter states a Grade 12 student at MUCC tested positive for the virus. It states parents of students in the affected classrooms received a separate email. Public Health officials consider the risk of exposure low due to masking protocols at MUCC, the letter stated.

Regular classes will continue according to the letter.

Public Health will be contacting parents and guardians of students and any staff, visitors, or volunteers who may have been in close contact with the case. The letter states if you do not hear from them, your child has not been exposed.
