Woman from Shoal Lake reported missing

The Carrot River RCMP is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing woman from the Shoal Lake Cree Nation.

Mykayla Bearboy, 26, went in a medical taxi from Shoal Lake to the Rexall Pharmacy in Nipawin on Wednesday. She has not been seen since.

Carrot River RCMP and Nipawin RCMP have been searching for Bearboy since and said they are worried for her well-being, in a Sunday statement.

Mykayla Bearboy is described as an Indigenous, 26-year-old woman of medium build. She is approximately five feet, eight inches (173 cm) tall and 160 pounds (73 kg). She has long black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of the word Family on her right forearm. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, grey spandex pants and pink shoes.

Anyone possessing information regarding the whereabouts of Mykayla Bearboy is asked to call Carrot River RCMP at 306-768-1200 or their local police service. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS
