Mustangs add B.C. defenceman for next season

The Melfort Mustangs are adding a new defenceman for the upcoming season.
Adam Bourgeois is coming over from British Columbia where he split the last season in the province’s U18 AAA ranks between the Vernon Vipers and West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL.
“Adam is a very solid two-way defenceman,” said Trevor Blevins, Mustangs’ head coach and general manager. “He reads plays well in his own zone, defends hard, and can create in the offensive zone.”
In 34 games last season, the 5-11 defenceman scored one goal and added six assists for seven points.
