Mustangs financially well-off as ever following successful cup run
The Melfort Mustangs held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday evening, as the club reviewed where they are financially, ahead of the fast approaching 2024/25 season.
It seemed to be all great news at the meeting, as the team announced just how well they’re set up following one of the greatest seasons in the organization’s history.
“I would definitely say that the team’s on an upswing based off last year, and I think it’s just going to continue under who the staff has coming back and just all the effort that they put in in the off-season as well,” explained Mustangs’ President Jordan Lee.
Finances continued to get better as the season wore on throughout all of March and April, as sold-out crowds, especially in the series against Humboldt and Flin Flon, continued to put more cash in the Blue and Green’s bank.
