Mustangs win fourth straight one-goal game
The Melfort Mustangs pushed their win streak to four games on Friday night, taking down the Kindersley Klippers, 4-3.
For the Mustangs it was yet a stressful night as they scored just once more than their opponents.
The victory marked Melfort’s fourth straight game in which they won by just a single marker.
“We do not like winning games by one, it’s a lot of stress, but the thing about that though is it builds character, and it really shows that we can win a game when it’s really tight. The biggest thing in the third is that we got the job done,” said assistant coach Tye Scherger.
