Late season snow to wreak havoc in northeast, central areas
The forecast has been updated for the major snowstorm set to track through the northern part of the province over the coming days.
The nasty weather will begin tonight, with a chance of freezing rain in the northeast and the wind gusting to 50 km/h.
In the Humboldt area, there is a risk of thunderstorm activity tonight, with wind gusts to 60 tonight and 50 overnight.
That rain will change to snow tomorrow across northeast and central areas of the province.
