People charged after Melfort shooting make court appearance
The two people facing firearms charges after a shooting in Melfort last month will soon have their case back in court.
Shayla Tataquason-Bear of Tisdale will be back in court on Monday, while Austin Patton of Melfort will make an appearance May 19.
Both were charged following a shooting at a home on Burrows Ave. W. on April 17.
One person received non-life-threatening injuries. Patton faces charges including reckless discharge of a firearm, while Tataquason-Bear’s charges include possession of a firearm and assaulting a police officer.
