Tisdale, Melfort fire crews called to assist in battling blazes on local fields

The Tisdale Fire Department was called to a fire in a field north of Tisdale.
Crews responded to the blaze Wednesday afternoon.
A tractor disking the field was found emitting smoke, and igniting the stubble.
Teams quickly responded to tend to the tractor and the field fire that was growing due to the wind.
