Crews respond to vehicle fire east of Nipawin

The Nipawin Fire Department (NFD) responded to a vehicle fire early Tuesday morning. 

A small car was fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived to the site just east of Nipawin. 

The department said the recent wet weather helped prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent fields, and crews were at the scene for less than an hour. 

It’s the 93rd call of the year for the NFD.
