Melfort’s Historical Buildings: Court of King’s Bench
northeastNOW continues its look at historic buildings in the city of Melfort.
The latest focus highlights another iconic building along Main St.
The Court of King’s Bench building was constructed in 1928, and according to the Melfort Museum was constructed of Estevan brick and tile.
“It makes it one of the oldest provincial buildings in Melfort, so it’s an important landmark for the residents here,” museum curator Brenda Mellon told northeastNOW.
