Guns seized after warrant executed on Yellow Quill First Nation

A 23-year-old man faces multiple charges after the search of a home on Yellow Quill First Nation. 

Rose Valley RCMP executed the search warrant Monday morning and seized seven firearms, including one semi-automatic model, two air rifles, and ammunition. 

Kynan Desjarlais faces thirty weapons-related charges, and he was also arrested on a warrant for charges including assault with a weapon, discharging a firearm with intent, using a firearm in the commission of an offense, and robbery with a firearm. 

Those charges were in connection to a June investigation into an incident on Yellow Quill FIrst Nation.
